Public Talk and Buddhist Ceremonies held in 2026 by Khenpo Lekshey

These gatherings were an important milestone for the centre, establishing its public Dharma activity and bringing students and supporters together.

The events included a Refuge Ceremony, Medicine Buddha practice, Avalokiteshvara practice, and teachings on The Thirty-Seven Practices of the Bodhisattvas. Together, they offered a complete and auspicious foundation for Sakya Rigzin Ling’s activities: entering the Buddhist path through refuge, cultivating healing and purification through Medicine Buddha, developing compassion through Avalokiteshvara, and receiving practical guidance on the bodhisattva way of life.

The Refuge Ceremony was especially significant, as it gave participants the opportunity to formally take refuge in the Three Jewels: the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha.

The Medicine Buddha event focused on healing, blessing, and the removal of obstacles. Through this practice, participants connected with the enlightened qualities of Medicine Buddha, traditionally associated with physical and mental healing.

The Avalokiteshvara event centred on compassion, one of the essential qualities of the Mahayana path. The practice offers participants a way to cultivate kindness, loving concern, and the wish to relieve the suffering of others.

The teachings on The Thirty-Seven Practices of the Bodhisattvas provided practical guidance on how to live with wisdom and compassion in daily life.

Together, these events formed a strong and auspicious foundation for Sakya Rigzin Ling. As the first formal events held for the centre, they marked the beginning of its Dharma activity with refuge, healing, compassion, and bodhisattva training. Under Khenpo Lekshey’s guidance, Sakya Rigzin Ling began its journey with clarity, blessing, and a sincere commitment to serving the Dharma and the wider community.
